- 2 (14 oz) packages pizza dough
- ½ cup Pomi Tomato Sauce
- 8 oz Cello Fontal cheese, shredded
- 8 oz Cello Parmesan cheese, shredded
- Edible Halloween eyes, for decoration
Halloween Mummy Pizza Pockets
Instructions
1. Prepare the Dough
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out each pizza dough sheet and cut into 4 equal rectangles, creating a total of 8 pieces.
2. Shape the Mummies
Using a sharp knife or pizza cutter, slice strips along the long edges of each rectangle, leaving the center uncut to hold the filling.
3. Add the Filling
Spoon 1 tablespoon of tomato sauce into the center of each rectangle. Sprinkle generously with shredded Fontal and Parmesan cheeses.
4. Wrap the Mummies
Fold the dough strips across the filling, alternating sides to create a “mummy wrap” effect.
5. Bake
Place the pizza pockets on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the dough is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
6. Decorate & Serve
Allow to cool slightly. Add a touch of tomato sauce to resemble “blood,” sprinkle with extra Parmesan, and place Halloween eyes on top for decoration. Serve warm.
