Cello Pecorino Romano is produced exclusively from fresh milk of sheep raised in the lush pastures of Sardinia, Italy. These vast rich grasslands, along with an ideal climate, create the perfect scenario for producing a truly flavorful cheese. Pecorino Romano is still made today as it was over 2,000 years ago. Pecorino Romano has the Italian Protected Designation of Origin (P.D.O.) certification. Aged over 9 months, it has a delicate balance of salt and nutty creaminess. Its distinctive savory taste makes it an excellent complement for Italian dishes.
